As a surface technology company, we bear a special responsibility towards our employees and the environment. When selecting process media, we give preference to more environmentally friendly solutions that are technically and qualitatively equivalent.

Our newly installed photovoltaic systems make a significant contribution to reducing CO₂ emissions. Metob will continue to invest in energy efficiency and in generating its own renewable energy in the years ahead.
In addition, we will increase the share of externally sourced renewable energy to 100% through green electricity products and certificates. This reduces our CO₂ emissions, and we are also committed to climate neutrality (Scope 2) from 2022.
Under the German Packaging Ordinance, we are obliged to take back, free of charge, any packaging from our products that does not bear the mark of a nationwide collection and recycling scheme, and to ensure that it is reused or disposed of properly.

We will then provide you with details of a municipal collection point or a waste management company in your area that will accept the packaging free of charge. If this is not possible, you will be able to send the packaging back to us. We will reuse the packaging or dispose of it in accordance with the Packaging Ordinance.
Compliance with laws, guidelines and voluntary codes is an essential part of our corporate policy. With this in mind, we offer a company compliance management system, supported by GeBuCom (Gesellschaft für Business und Compliance).
