Powder coating is a highly versatile coating process. It is used both as a decorative finish and as a technical coating, for example for corrosion protection. Powder coating can produce virtually any surface effect imaginable, including gloss, matt, textured and metallic finishes.
As an experienced coater, we can meet any colour requirement: from RAL, NCS or Sikkens shades to colours developed exclusively for individual customers. Our plant technology allows us to coat large series with the same care as individual parts.
Powder coating is suitable for products from across the metalworking industry, including the automotive sector, manufacturers of tubular steel furniture and prams, plant engineering, medical technology and the defence sector.
Degreasing/iron phosphating, multiple rinses with deionised water, hot-air drying.
The maximum part size is 3,000 mm in length, 900 mm in width and 1,450 mm in height, with a maximum weight of 30 kg per part.
Our powder coatings contain no solvents or toxic heavy metals. Requirements such as food safety or toy safety in accordance with DIN EN 71-3 can easily be met by prior arrangement.
Unlike liquid paints, powder coatings allow almost 100% material utilisation during application.
Pretreatment removes grease and dirt from the substrates and applies a conversion coating that provides corrosion protection and acts as an adhesion promoter. The parts are then rinsed and dried to guarantee optimum surface cleanliness.
The powder is applied automatically using modern equipment or manually where the part requires it. The powder coating is then cured in a hot-air oven, creating an extremely durable, impact-resistant surface. Powder coating is the preferred choice for both technical and design applications.
Electrostatic or tribostatic application of the powder, either automatically or manually depending on the part. The powder coating is cured at approx. 180 °C.
